Shipping Policies
We use a range of available services from the following carriers: USPS and UPS. If you need your items urgently, please contact our support team prior to placing your order to avoid processing delays. All shipments originate from our warehouse located in Dallas, TX.
Shipping Method Definitions
For online processing and customer support: Business days are Monday-Friday; Shipping carriers do not pick up our packages Saturday-Monday. Actual shipping times depend on the carrier, service selected and your location in relation to Dallas, TX. Packages are usually not scanned upon pickup, so tracking updates will likely appear within the first 24 hours after pickup. Please see the section on international shipping for additional details.
Domestic Shipping Methods:
- Ground
- Delivery typically in one to seven business days after an order has shipped, depending on your location in relation to Dallas, TX.
- Three Day
- Delivery typically in three business days after an order has shipped. (Call us for this option)
- Two Day
- Delivery typically in two business days after an order has shipped. (Call us for this option)
- Next Day
- Delivery typically in one business day after an order has shipped. (Call us for this option)
International Shipping Methods:
- Standard
- Delivery typically in 7 to 14 business days after an order has shipped.
International Shipping
All international orders will ship from our warehouse only and may require additional processing time. Any import duties, taxes or fees are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. Packing slips for international shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices. Tires, hazardous, and some oversize items cannot be shipped internationally. Oversize items are handled on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on the item and carrier restrictions for the destination.
Split Shipments
If there is a backorder or special order and you would like to split the order into multiple shipments we are happy to accommodate, but you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges. Contact our support team to get additional shipping quotes.
Damage, Loss, and Theft Insurance with Route Shipping Protection
Insurance is optional at checkout via Route Shipping Protection, but we HIGHLY recommend you opt in. Once the package has left our facilities, it is no longer in our hands and we are not responsible for any damage/loss/theft while packages are in transit. Shipping carriers will NOT cover theft once it has been marked delivered. However, Route Shipping Protection does cover these cases and resolves them exponentially quicker than relying on shipping carrier claims. AMS Ducati Dallas is very pleased to offer this service to our clients.
Damaged Goods
Please let us know ASAP if any goods arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Claims are handled through the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS) or via Route Shipping Protection if opted in. We will assist our customers in these claims as best we can. The shipping carrier claims process can take several weeks (potentially months) to complete so be patient. If your claim is denied by Route, USPS, or UPS, we will not be able to refund or reimburse you.
Tracking Numbers
When we ship your order we will email you confirmation and a tracking number when available. Packages are usually not scanned upon pickup, so tracking updates will likely appear within the first 24 hours after pickup. The level of tracking varies per carrier and shipping service. Please understand that we have no control over shipping carrier delays. Contact our support team prior to placing your order if you require a specific service.
